Why Your Home Address Might Not Show Up in the Pearl Registry
If you’ve searched for your home in the Pearl Home Performance Registry but don’t see your address, don’t worry — this doesn’t mean your home lacks value or performance features. The Registry is designed with specific property types in mind, and there are a few reasons why your home may not appear.
1. The Registry Includes Only Single-Family Homes
Right now, the Pearl Registry is limited to single-family detached and attached homes (like townhouses). Apartments and condominiums located in multifamily buildings are not included at this time.
2. Your Address May Not Have Been Matched Yet
The Registry relies on public property records to display homes. If there’s an issue with how your address is formatted or recorded, it may not show up until we reconcile the data. For example, we have found property records that incorrectly classify a residential home as being a non-residential property type (like a commercial property).
3. Bugs exist!
It could be an issue on our end. With over 90 million homes on our Registry, we have seen issues on a few homes.
