I want to work with a Pearl Certified builder for my next home

Pearl partners with builders that demonstrate that they meet and exceed modern energy code requirements and that they have a third-party independently test every home that they build. If you are working with a builder that is not a Pearl partner, ask if they independently test their homes using a blower door and a third-party such as a RESNET HERS Rater. If they answer yes, that is a good sign that they are dedicated to quality building practices and that their homes are Pearl certifiable.

For the past few years, Pearl has focused its builder recruitment to the central VA area. Builder partners includes Southern Development Homes, Bramante Homes, and Eagle Homes of VA.

We recently launched our national outreach efforts. We are in the process of expanding our builder partners and will launch a partner locator during that expansion.
