When you have settled on a lender and a loan product, make sure to send your loan officer the following:
- Pearl Certification Report
- Appraisal Institute Green and Energy Efficiency Addendum
- The Letter to the Lender
- The Letter to the Appraiser
You may also want to send information about the cost of improvements.
It is important that this information is part of the appraisal package and providing to the appraisal department.
Appraisers who are responding to this assignment should have knowledge of the type of assignment, and the lender should select a qualified appraiser based on the specifics of your home's special property features.
