What to do when the appraiser is in your home

You do have a right to provide information to the appraiser!

Be a resource for the appraiser. Provide information, but do not tell them how they should do their job.

Provide them with your Pearl Certification Report, Appraisal Institute's Green and Energy Efficiency Addendum, and the letter to the Appraiser. You can also provide receipts, invoices, and other data to help them understand the value of your investment(s).

If you are not at the home, leave it in a place where they can see it.
