Instructions on reporting and data points for HVAC equipment. 

Please list customer data horizontally on an Excel spreadsheet, CSV File, or Google Sheet.

Minimum data points required for an HVAC Home Performance Report to be issued:

Homeowner Information Equipment Information
      A. Homeowner Name       A. Equipment Manufacturer
      B. Property Address       B. Equipment Model Number
      C. Homeowner Email       C. Equipment Serial Number
        D. Install Date

Supplemental data points available for inclusion on a report:

While these data points are not required, including them, if possible, makes for a more robust report for homeowners.
Common Additional Data Points
      A. Thermostat Type (if not itemized as equipment line)
      B. MERV Filter Rating
      C. Percentage of heating load served by each equipment unit installed*
      D. Percentage of cooling load served by each equipment unit installed*

*Example A: Contractor  installs two high-efficiency Air Source Heat Pumps - the smaller unit handles 35% of the heating and cooling of the house while the larger unit handles 65% of the house's heating and cooling

*Example B: Contractor installs high-efficiency gas furnace and two split system A/C units - the gas furnace handles 100% of the heating while the A/C units each handle 50% of the cooling
